Change of address and increased trading hours for Orana Mutual’s Trangie Branch
30.08.2011
With its move to upgraded premises in the centre of town Orana Mutual’s Trangie branch will increase its trading hours to five days a week. With growth to $2 million in loans and member savings of $13 million, the move is aimed to support the growth experienced within Trangie.
Orana Mutual CEO Kevin Dupé who will officially open the new branch on Thursday morning says the move is a response to a members survey conducted last year.
“Feedback showed they would find it more convenient if we relocated closer to the town centre and also that we provide a five day service,” he said.
“We are delighted to have found a suitable location in the Newsagency building on Dandaloo Street and that we are now also open on Tuesdays from 9.30-5pm.”
Mr Dupé said the new Trangie branch office would be staffed by Orana Mutual employees only to ensure privacy of personal information as required by law.
Orana Mutual’s Trangie Branch in Narromine St was officially opened by then NSW Premier Bob Carr in 1996 and has occupied those premises until the recent move.
The Branch currently employs two staff on a rotation basis and can now accommodate its members through flexible lending appointments Monday-Friday.
Mr Dupé said Orana Mutual would be delighted to welcome as many of its Trangie members who are free on Thursday morning to attend the opening at 11am.
