The Hunter Mutual banking system was successfully merged with The Community Mutual Group’s on 8th March and all online services are now available to you from this site. Please note that, due to an unforeseen error in the merger of the two computer systems, ALL Hunter Mutual memberships have been renumbered to become a six digit number. All member numbers now start with a four and, where your previous member number was less than five digits, zeros are inserted to make the number up to six digits. For example, if your previous number was 15260, it will now be 415260. Likewise, if your member number was 1, the new member number will be 400001.

This change will not affect your access to the money held in your account when using ATMs, EFTPOS or cheque books – it will only affect withdrawals in the branch and when you use internet or telephone banking.

We apologise for any inconvenience this error has caused.

As you would be aware, Hunter Mutual members elected to merge with New England Credit Union Ltd, on 9 December 2009. New England Credit Union Ltd has subsequently commenced trading as New England Mutual, Orana Mutual and Hunter Mutual in the three specific geographic areas in which we operate. The collective group of credit union brands is now know as The Community Mutual Group.

As mentioned, we have now created a single banking system for all Community Mutual Group members.

Members can access funds via ATM and EFTPOS as per usual. Remember to use rediATMs to avoid direct charges imposed by other financial institutions when you use their ATMs.

To access Internet Banking, simply click the "WebAccess" link at the top of the home page or in the blue box on the left hand side of the home page.

When accessing Internet Banking you will need your existing Hunter Mutual Internet Banking access code/password and your new member number.

To use SwiftAccess, The Community Mutual Group’s telephone banking service, simply call 1300 363 777 and follow the prompts, ensuring that you use your new six digit membership number.
