In response to your changing needs, and our
desire to be more closely involved in the Financial Planning and
Wealth Management process, NECU has recently changed the way we
provide these services to our members.
These changes involve the appointment of
suitably qualified financial planning employees to the staff of
NECU. These employees work in partnership with NECU’s new
Wealth Management partner, Community and Corporate Financial Services
(ComCorp), to provide you with an integrated financial planning
and wealth management service.
About Community and Corporate Financial
Services (ComCorp)!
ComCorp is a national financial planning
group that specialises in developing integrated Wealth Management
solutions for credit unions and their members. ComCorp has been
the preferred financial planning partner and supplier to a number
of Credit Unions for several years. The success of these relationships
has been based on:
• ComCorp’s commitment to remaining
independent of the large bank-owned fund managers, in order to ensure
that its advisers are free to recommend products solely on the basis
of what is in each members’ best interests;
• ComCorp’s dedications towards
the building of long lasting and mutually beneficial relationships
with its credit union partners;
• ComCorp’s ability to work with
these credit unions to develop flexible processes and services that
deliver the desired results for ComCorp, the credit union, and you,
the member; and
• The consistent positive feedback
these credit unions have received from their members about the quality
of ComCorp’s services.
New England Credit Union (NECU) has recently
made the decision to exclusively recommend and endorse ComCorp as
its financial planning partner. In consultation with ComCorp, we
have structured a comprehensive product and service framework built
around the strengths of NECU’s own staff and the specialist
skills of ComCorp’s accredited financial planners.
Why should I consider using NECU’s
new Wealth Management services?
NECU’s aim is to help all of our members
achieve their financial goals throughout all stages of their life.
Whether you are retired or close to retirement, a recent entrant
to the workforce or a full-time student, our dedicated Wealth Management
team is there to help you define and implement your financial plans.
Our Wealth Accumulation Officers (WAOs) and
ComCorp’s financial planners are absolutely committed to providing
you with the best professional advice available. These individuals
have been carefully selected based on their professional qualifications
and their dedication to the culture and values of NECU.
ComCorp has committed to provide NECU’s
members with professional and involved management of their financial
planning needs, to whatever level you require.
In partnership with ComCorp, NECU’s
aim is to help you, our members, establish achievable financial
goals and strategies and to assist you with:
Superannuation, Borrowing to Invest, Estate
Planning, Wealth Creation, Corporate Superannuation, Managed Funds
Advice, Savings Plans, Redundancy, Pre & Post Retirement, Debt
Management, Risk Management, Tax-effective Investment, Social Security
Benefits.
How can you decide whether NECU’s
new Wealth Management services can be of benefit to you?
Although the particular needs and financial
goals of each NECU member may differ, the key to satisfying those
needs and goals is for members to have access to a suitably qualified
professional whom they can trust. We therefore invite you to contact
NECU to arrange an initial interview with one of our dedicated team
who can discuss your particular needs. There is no cost for this
service but it will give you the opportunity to assess whether NECU
can provide the critical role of being your trusted personal adviser.
If I make an initial appointment,
am I obliged to access any particular investment products or services
from NECU or ComCorp?
NO. The choice is yours.
Why has NECU developed its Wealth
Management partnership with ComCorp?
New England Credit Union operates to serve
our members. Our primary concern is to give our members the best
financial products and services at minimum cost. When members are
asked what they value most about NECU the answer is ‘the personal
service, understanding and trust’.
For that reason whenever we look for business
partners to help us give our members access to more products and
services, we are diligent in our search and determined that our
partners must be able to promise personal service, understanding
and trust.
We chose ComCorp as our partner because they
were able to commit to these important values.
Financial Services Guides are available to
help you understand the roles that would be performed by New England
Credit Union and ComCorp when providing services to you. This information
